KEVIN FRIESEN

Hello, my name is Kevin Friesen. I am the Physical Education teacher at Addams and Upton Elementary schools. I have been teaching in the Royal Oak District for 25 years. I am currently the Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis Coach at Royal Oak High School. I have been the Varsity Coach at Royal Oak High School for the last seven seasons. My interests are Basketball, Tennis, Golf, Pickleball, Badminton and being a full time spectator, watching my family members participate in their sports.

MICHAEL LEWIS

I am beginning my 29th year as a Physical Education Teacher in Royal Oak. I am currently teaching at Oak Ridge Elementary and Oakland Elementary. I have a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University where I majored in Physical Education and minored in Political Science. I also have my M.S. from Eastern Michigan University in Educational Leadership. I coach varsity football in the fall and I am also the freshmen basketball coach at Royal Oak High School in the winter. I was fortunate enough to be the 2000 Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year in the State of Michigan and also the 2011 Oak Ridge Teacher of the Year. I am married to my wonderful wife Lisa and we have two boys, Matt and Brian, both of whom graduated from the University of Michigan. Go Blue!!!

DAVE POTTER

Hello my name is David Potter. I have been teaching in Royal Oak for the last 29 years. I teach Physical Education/Adapted Physical Education grades K-8. I teach one hour at ROMS and one at Addams Elementary. The rest of the day I'm at Keller Elementary. Other programs that I run for the district include the Breakfast Club, Learn to Swim Program, Special Olympics/Disabled Sports, ROMS Football/Wrestling Coach, Latchkey, and Mentoring students at Keller. KEITH DOODY

Hello, my name is Keith Doody and this is my tenth year as a teacher. I have taught Physical Education and Health to grades K-12 at Chandler Park Academy in Harper Woods, Cesar Chavez Academy in Southwest Detroit, and throughout the Royal Oak School District. My wife Andrea (who is a fifth grade teacher at Oak Ridge Elementary) and I have two daughters named Chloe and Abigail. I received my masters' degree in Administration at Saginaw Valley State University and my bachelor's degree in education from Wayne State University. Being a Royal Oak Kimball alum, I feel very fortunate to be in the Royal Oak School District.
